We are proud to have clients, who we consider friends, all over the world. Here are some of their comments and photos of their horses, which were bred at Las Cadenas.

Amaia Peña, Mallorca, Spain (2016):

“I just wanted to tell you that I have a horse from Yeguada Las Cadenas, born in 2002, Isleño 37 (Rayo V x Casifea). I bought him when he was 4, and after 10 years I continue enjoying with him. I’m ridding with Pepe Raga. I send you pictures of all the times of his life, to this day.  I have enjoyed him in Barcelona, my home city, and for 6 years he lives with me in Mallorca. A great horse!

Christine Khalil, Estados Unidos (2016):

“Quiebro XXXV, bred by Lorenzo Ortiz, owned by Christine Khalil, USA. Ridden by Miguel Anacoreta in Massachusetts, May, 2016. Thank you Lorenzo for selling me this beautiful horse!!!”

Aztec Andalusian Stud, United Kikgdom(2015):

Joanne Beresford, United Kingdom (2013):

“I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for hosting and organising such a special visit to your stud. I had such a marvellous time and will have many fond memories, including watching a young horse being backed, riding my first ever Piaffe and Spanish walk and meeting some truly amazing PREs (Especial and Macaco), not to mention a trip to visit Clavijo and of course Lorenzo’s special art of keeping herds of loose horses safely at bay while catching escaped budgies in flight!

Everyone put so much effort in to make the event a success and it was wonderful to see a team so dedicated and enthusiastic about the PRE horse. I have retuned to the UK knowing much more about the breed and how the young horses are trained and produced, and of course where my next PRE will be coming from!

A special thanks to Lorenzo for giving up so much of his time (and for his incredible hospitality) and to Claire (and lovely boyfriend) who was so knowledgeable, organised the event so efficiently and got us from A to B without a fuss!

I am very much missing the horses, tapas, wine, the sun and you all! I would love to stay in touch and visit you all soon.”

Julie, United States (2013):

“We could not be more please to own Pirata XXXIII. He is truly a special horse with outstanding movement and an incredible temperament. His went to his first show In August and took home 1st place in 3-4 year old PRE Stallions and 2nd in Dressage Suitability out of a class of 9 horses.

Everyone loved Pirata XXXIII not only his color and conformation, but his very calm demeanor was most impressive. We look forward to his dressage career in the US.”.

Herman de Jong, Germany (2013):

“My family and I bought Kabileño back in 1996, when he was just 6 years old. Throughout all these years he has maintained his great character and has been in fantastic health, and at the age of 23, he is still a beautiful and very capable horse as you can see in a recent exhibition that took place in Glasgow.

It was this positive experience with Kabileño and our great trust in Lorenzo and his team which led us buy another horse from Las Cadenas, Palermo IV. This little ruffian is only three years old but he is already the star of Müllers Pferdeparadies, in Germany”.

Enrique Villegas, Spain (2013):

” I started riding a few years ago and it was really just coincidence that I started at Las Cadenas. Yet I felt welcome and at home from the very first day and as time went by I became increasingly involved in the beautiful world of horses, until I eventually felt the need to take the next step and buy my own.  Even though I was a first time buyer with no experience of owning a horse, I can say that I felt completely comfortable and secure with the team at the yard. The “chosen one” was a 4 year old colt called Napoleon, a breathtaking purebred PRE, born and bred at Las Cadenas.

Two years down the road, I can honestly say that buying him was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. He is a stunning horse, of noble character, and who has brought more positivity into my life than I could ever have imagined.

The Las Cadenas team had told me that he would be a great horse, but even more importantly that his character would suit mine, and mine his. They were absolutely right and I am very grateful to them for their professionalism, great advice and expertise and of course for matching me so perfectly with Napoleon, but also for making me feel so at home and comfortable with the entire team”.

Leigh Burns, Australia (2012):

“Leyenda is 7 year old mare which I bought from Las Cadenas. We have had great success in dressage competitions, thanks to her fantastic character and ability. Here she is seen in one of her first ever competitions a few years ago, where we placed 2nd. I am so proud of her!”.

“And there are some pictures of Imprevisto VII, first Leyenda’s colt, and also by Especial, stallion at Las Cadenas, at the AHAA State Champsionships 2013, where he gets State Champion Junior Spanish colt.”
